A tobacco-and-nicotine-focused alternative to suspension.

Second Chance is a web-based educational alternative-to-suspension program for middle and high school students who’ve been found with tobacco or nicotine products. The program is interactive, self-directed, and evidence-based, and can be completed in three hours. The program may also be helpful for youth who may be curious about tobacco or other nicotine products and would benefit from specific education.

An update of the Second Chance content, web platform, activities, and design is coming in 2026! It will also be available in Spanish at that time.
